Canceling a publishing job

Canceling a publishing job stops the job immediately.

To cancel a publishing job:

1. In Meridian Enterprise Server Configurator, in the System group, click TASK MONITOR. The Tasks page appears and lists the background tasks that have been created and their status.

OR

1. In Meridian Enterprise Server Configurator, on any page that shows the PROGRESS icon in the status bar, click PROGRESS. The Background tasks window appears and lists the running background tasks.
2. Click the Tasks icon . The Tasks page appears and shows details about the background tasks that have been created.
3. Select the job that you want to cancel and then in the toolbar, click Cancel. A confirmation dialog box appears.
4. Click YES. The job is stops immediately.

Note    Although the publishing job itself will be stopped, other processes that were started by the publishing job may continue to run until they are finished processing the current document, for example, native applications used by rendering modules.
